Jeremy Hafen, Clyde Companies

DEALERS

The Clyde Cos., which includes Sunpro, promoted Jeremy Hafen to CEO. He already was president.


McCray Lumber and Millwork promoted Gene Bosley to COO. He succeeds Steve Haynes, who is retiring.


Builders FirstSource appointed Dave Rush to serve as interim CEO following the resignation of Dave Flitman to become CEO of US Foods. A search committee has been formed to find a permanent replacement. BFS also named Jayson Bennett, Shannon Chesser, and and Russ Mahaffey as General Managers.


Your Building Centers appointed Tim Leupold as Acting CEO.


American Builders Supply named George Wilkins as SVP of Operations.


US LBM chose Steve Smithers to be VP of Operations for its Western Division and hired Avid Hadad to be a Human Resources Director.


Carter Lumber appointed Christopher Culber to be an EWP Production Manager.


ABC Supply named Christopher Arnett as a Manager of Operational Systems.


SRS Distribution promoted Nick Cunningham to Senior Director-Sales and promoted Morgan Folks to Regional Safety Manager. The company also brought June Yang onto its Board of Directors.


Dunn Lumber promoted Brent Spears to Branch Manager.


Mid-Cape Home Center, a division of US LBM, named Dan Taylor to manage its Orleans, MA, branch.


Marine Home Center promoted Greg Marsh to Manager of the Building Materials Department.


84 Lumber chose Derek Pribanic to be an OSR.


Universal Supply, a division of US LBM, named Craig Carter as an OSR.


Hines Supply brought in Paul Gauger to be a Purchasing Assistant.

Direct Lumber and Door of Colorado promoted Jenny Baker to Controller.


Kodiak Building Partners named Katie Puc as its new Human Resource Generalist.


Canada's Home Hardware Stores named Kim McClellan as Marketing Manager, Media.


Laura Freeman, Orgill

DISTRIBUTORS

Orgill is bringing in Laura Freeman on Jan. 3 to take on the newly created role of EVP of Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer. The distributor also promoted Chris Freader to SVP of Retail Services; Geoff McCaslin to Director, Replenishment; Andrew Yount to Director, Vendor Support; Jim Rivas to Director, Retail Technology; and Peter Kim to Director, Cybersecurity. With the retirement of Myron Boswell, Todd Nowels will become the new VP for Dealers Sales, Northeast, while Paul Dupont will succeed Nowels as VP Dealer Sales, Southeast.


BlueLinx appointed Dionne Vernon to be VP, Talent Management, and Gui Nebel to be VP, Finance and Treasury. The distributor also named James Bauer as its new General Manager in Cincinnati and brought in Shree Iyer to be Senior Director for Enterprise Apps.


Parksite promoted James Coulter to VP of Supply Chain.


Do it Best promoted Lori Cardelli to Associate Building Materials Trader, Joe Hutt to Merchandise Manager for Building Materials, Brittany Peavler to Associate Merchandise Manager for Hardware, Dan Sloat to IT Development Manager, and Brianne Till to Graphics Production Coordinator. The distributor also named Mike Ocker as its new Business Development Manager-East, and it hired Jenny Chambless as a Merchandise Coordinator, Rachael Driscoll as a Graphic Design Supervisor, Dylan Hopper as a Sales Support Coordinator, Richard Schraeger as an IT Scrum Master, and Jimmy Sturm as a Conversion Support Specialist


Lumbermens Merchandising Corporation named Jon Benjamin as a Department Manager in Commodity Building Materials.


Distribution America CEO Dave Christmas will retire at the end of 2022.


Louisville Tile Distributors hired Tim Hanno to serve as Director of Sales for the South Region.

Floor & Decor chose Bryan Langley to be its new EVP and CFO. He succeeds Trevor Lang, who has become the company's President.

ASSOCIATIONS

The Home Improvement Research Institute has a new Executive Director: Dave King. He also will be VP of Insights at The Farnsworth Group.


NKBA, the trade association for the kitchen and bath industry, announced that Jan Heck, President and CEO of Miele USA, was elected Board Chair. In addition, Kristen Elder, VP of Residential Builder & Showrooms at Ferguson Industries, was elected Vice Chair. Ken Williams, President and CEO of Caesarstone North America, was named Board Secretary/Treasurer.


The Southern Forest Products Association elected Mark Richardson of The Westervelt Company as Board Chairman, Rich Mills of Hood Industries as Vice Chairman, and Pino Pucci of LaSalle Lumber as Treasurer.
