Amy Bass Messersmith, Builders First Source

Builders FirstSource hired Amy Bass Messersmith (right) as its Chief People Officer. BFS said Messersmith will oversee "all aspects of human resources, including the implementation of strategies to develop and promote best practices in organizational and leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and talent acquisition, development, and management." In addition, BFS picked Robert Preston to be a General Manager in BFS' Littleton, CO, yard; hired Christopher Burgess to be an Inventory Control Specialist; and brought in Kaitlyn Wagner to be an OSR.

Kodiak Building Partners promoted several people at its operations in Washington State: Patricia Bickley to VP of Builders Alliance and Frontier Building Supply, Shannon Hartley to Regional Manager for Anacortes and Island markets, Sally Paul to Regional Manager for Whidbey Island, and Wade Gardner to Regional Manager for the I-5 and North Counties locations.

Richard Cooper has become President of Thrifty Building Supply, Olive Branch, MS. He had been VP.

US LBM promoted Jim Sullivan to VP of Commodity Products.

Gulfeagle Supply promoted Billy Quinley to Gulf Coast regional manager and made Joe Knippel the Southeast Regional Manager.

Wehrung’s promoted Sarah Ross to Division Manager.

US LBM's Arrow Building Center named Susan Keller to a Market Region Accounting Manager position.

American Builders Supply promoted Rob Hageman to General Manager of Truss Production Operations.

ABC Supply promoted new managers at three of its Texas locations: Mariechen Brydon in Corpus Christi, Kevin Erickson in Melissa, and Victoria Longo in Lubbock.

Parr Lumber named Tom Johnston as a Location Manager and promoted Jeff Owenby to Assistant Manager.

Hancock Lumber appointed Stasha MacDougall as the new General Manager of its North Conway, NH, location.

McCoy’s Building Supply announced the appointment of Drew Van Winkle (left) as Manager of its Spicewood, TX, store, which will open in early summer.

SRS Distribution selected Michael Faltot to be a Branch Manager.

GMSKarpov & New England Gypsum unit chose Isaac Burkett to be an Acoustical Segment Manager.

Spahn & Rose brought in Gina Lark to be an OSR. Stockton Building Supply brought in Mark Graber to be a Wholesale Account Manager.

Genesee Reserve Supply hired Jamie Fox for its Sales and Purchasing department.

Eldridge Lumber hired Matt Skerry to be an Inside Sales Rep.


Cameron Ashley Building Products chose Jay Cole to be a new Regional Sales VP.

AZEK appointed Chris Latkovic as SVP of Operations. He succeeds Bobby Gentile, who will retire this summer.

M-D Building Products formed four brand portfolio strategic business units and named each unit's director: Kipp Collins, Consumer; Mike Wasson Manufactured Solutions and Cardinal Aluminum; Joe Comitale, Pro and Canadian Consumers; and Jared Bringhurst, Shared Manufacturing Services.
