Builders FirstSource hired Amy Bass Messersmith (right) as its Chief People Officer. BFS said Messersmith will oversee "all aspects of human resources, including the implementation of strategies to develop and promote best practices in organizational and leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and talent acquisition, development, and management." In addition, BFS picked Robert Preston to be a General Manager in BFS' Littleton, CO, yard; hired Christopher Burgess to be an Inventory Control Specialist; and brought in Kaitlyn Wagner to be an OSR.
Kodiak Building Partners promoted several people at its operations in Washington State: Patricia Bickley to VP of Builders Alliance and Frontier Building Supply, Shannon Hartley to Regional Manager for Anacortes and Island markets, Sally Paul to Regional Manager for Whidbey Island, and Wade Gardner to Regional Manager for the I-5 and North Counties locations.
Richard Cooper has become President of Thrifty Building Supply, Olive Branch, MS. He had been VP.
