Creating pins for the roughly 770 locations involved in The Home Depot's purchase of SRS Distribution would easily obscure all the other action taking place in LBM's M&A market, so that deal gets black dots on the map above. What's left are locations of 159 facilities acquired, 112 greenfields (30% of which have yet to open), and 21 closures. That's a lower count compared with the 210 locations purchased by this time last year, but the number of actual greenfields is about the same. There have been 62 different deals involving 41 buyers.
