Tim Leupold, Your Building Centers


Your Building Centers announced that Tim Leupold (right) has been promoted to President and CEO. Leupold has held those positions on an interim basis since Rich Lender's death in October 2022. Previously, Leupold was YBC's VP of Manufacturing and Installed Sales.

US LBM brought on Andrew Campbell as its new EVP and CIO. The company also selected Tony DeLuzio to be a Supply Chain Director, Christina Ramos to be a Compensation Analyst and Jenna Tart to be a Demand Planner.

A Few Cool Hardware Stores, a chain serving the Baltimore-Washington region, announced that Craig Smith will be its new CEO.

Builders FirstSource named Todd Skinner as its VP of Sales Operations and picked Phil Carbone to be a Windows Specialist.

National Lumber, a division of Builders FirstSource, promoted Michael Sullivan to Area Business Manager.

84 Lumber hired Jim McMahon and Mike Cousino to be General Managers, Gareth Rumley to be a Sales Manager, and Chris Stone and Mark Rutter to be OSRs.

Big C Lumber promoted Chris Baker to General Manager of the Roseland, IN, store; Doug Kapica to Operations Manager in Roseland; and Brett Griggs to Operations Manager in Elkhart, IN.

Lansing Building Products promoted Dax Hallsten to Branch Manager in Ogden, UT.

Carter Lumber named Jared Roomsburg as a Market Sales Manager and Kyle Diamond as an Installed Sales Manager.

SRS Distribution named Gabrielle McQuay to be a Branch Manager, Devin Mathes to be an Area Credit Manager, and Adam Alborn to be an Assistant Branch Manager.

James Mason, ABC Supply

ABC Supply named James Mason (left) to the new position of VP of Renewable Energy. He had been Southern California District Manager. Kyle Gentile has been promoted to take Mason's place. The specialty dealer also named Colby Meek to manage its new branch in Granbury, TX, and in recent months it has picked these Branch Managers: Vladimir Hernandez in El Centro, CA; Nick Llorens, Jacksonville, FL; Jeremy Carver, Atlanta; Drew Woody, Baltimore; Mike Emanuel, Waldorf, MD; Emily Zell, Eagan, MN; Cameron Morgan, Akron, OH; Jeff Chapman, Canton, OH; Ben Antonini, Solon, OH; Roger Flores, Abilene, TX; Marcus Brown, Houston; David Wassermann, White Settlement, TX; Ed Lund, La Crosse, WI; Garrett Meyer, West Allis, WI; Jordan Seewald, Waxahachie, TX; and Kevin Mode, Everett, WA.

L&W Supply, a division of ABC Supply, chose Zach Whitten as a Branch Manager and hired John Filion to be a Sales Advocate.

Foundation Building Materials' newest sales rep is Ken Coriell.

Garris Evans Lumber hired three sales officers for its Shallotte, NC, branch: Gay Ferris, Gray Canady, and Ed Fargo.

Beacon Building Products announced that Maya Hayes has been named VP, Human Resources, for the West Division.

Eldredge Lumber promoted Matt Skerry to Manager.

Palm City Millwork chose Darrell May to be a General Sales Manager.

Karpp & New England Gypsum, a division of GMS, named Robert O'Donnell as its Area Manager for Massachusetts & Connecticut.

Bliffert Lumber brought in Kirt Whitehouse to be an OSR.

The newest OSR at Jordan's Building Center is Brendan Depaola.


LMC announced the appointment of Jack Phipps as its new VP of Technology. The co-op also brought on Jonathyn Truax as a Regional Manager.

Allison Meyer, Do it Best

Do it Best promoted Stephanie Lyons to Associate Merchandise Manager for Building Materials, Allison Meyer (left) to Communications Director, Megan Millsap to Market Research Specialist, Jordan Montgomery to Manager of Special Projects, Chris Snyder to Associate Merchandise Manager-Paint & Paint Supplies, and Ryan Stopher to Merchandising Manager-Electrical. In addition, former Communications Director Randy Rusk has become the co-op's Community Affairs Manager. And Do it Best hired Garrett Bates as an IT Systems Administrator Intern and Hannah Moughler as a Communications Content Specialist.

Palmer-Donavin promoted Troy Tahyi to Production Manager.

The Gypsum Supply Division at Affiliated Distributors hired Jeremy Pulver as a Divisional Services Specialist.


Tamlyn promoted Miguel Gonzales to CEO

Sunset Stone named Michael Cobb as its new CEO.

Stanley Black & Decker named Chris Nelson as its COO as well as EVP and President of the Tools & Outdoor division.

Georgia-Pacific announced that John Beers III is the new President of the Panels division.

PPG's interim Chief Procurement Officer, Christine Camsuzou, has been named VP for Procurement and CPO.

Virginia Tile appointed David Burke as its new CFO.

ODL selected John Careri to be President of its Door Division and an EVP at ODL. The company also hired Denise Quinnette (right) to be VP of Product and Brand Management.

Altenloh, Brinck & Co. named Derek Fielding as VP of Strategic Marketing and promoted Eric Ashack to VP of Sales for the SPAX brand.

Rex Lumber promoted Edward Godek to Director of Marketing.

Tando Composites selected Christopher Powanda to be its Director of Business Development-National Builders & Commercial Projects.

Marvin selected Marshall Baser to be its Director of Enterprise Services & Customer Experience.

Belco Forest Products hired Baxter Reimer as Director of Sales.

Cornerstone Building Brands named Will Gentry as VP of Customer Experience.

Premier Building Supply selected Trenton Cashman as a Production Manager.

OrePac Building Products chose Travis Price as a Sales Manager.

Metal Sales Manufacturing Corp. chose Andrew Ryan to be a Regional VP.

Trex named Mekleya Mcduffie, a Human Resources leader, to its Board of Directors. She currently is EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer at Clean Harbors.

ASSOCIATIONS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS DMSi Software promoted Scott Green to VP of Millwork Development.

Mark Whaley, the former Director of M&A at TopBuild, has created his own business, Iron Creek Business Advisors. Whaley says the firm was created "to help business owners develop their succession plan and take control of their future."

The National Association of Home Builders named James Tobin III as the new President and CEO, effective June 1. He succeeds Jerry Howard, who is retiring.

The Structural Building Components Association added a new Board member: Rachel Hoops, B2B and Component Sales Manager at LMC.

Diana Rich, Director of Risk Management at Foundation Building Materials, was reappointed to the California Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau.
