Clyde Cos., owner of Sunpro, named Jeremy Hafen as its new president.


Arleen Mantel, president of Wisconsin-based Zuern Building Products and Design Center, plans to retire. She is succeeded by Tom Zuern, while Doug Calson has been hired to serve as EVP. Mantel says her exact departure date remains to be set, and she will work in 2021.

Recently retired state Rep. Matt Gabler has been announced as the new Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Forest Products Association. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue has reappointed Eric Cremers, Caroline Dauzat, and Hugues Simon to serve second terms on the Softwood Lumber Board. He has also appointed director Keith O’Rear to his first term. Cremers is President & CEO of PotlatchDeltic, Dauzat is Owner and Manager of Rex Lumber, Hugues Simon is a remanufacturer of diverse wood products, and O’Rear works at Weyerhaeuser’s corporate office.

Bryan Smalley has joined the board of the North American Forest Foundation.
