Arleen Mantel, president of Wisconsin-based Zuern Building Products and Design Center, plans to retire. She is succeeded by Tom Zuern, while Doug Calson has been hired to serve as EVP. Mantel says her exact departure date remains to be set, and she will work in 2021.

BlueLinx moved two general managers into regional VP jobs: Matt Lyle in the Central Region and George Zarick in the East Region. It also hired Mike Reasons as national sales manager for the outdoor living category.
Do it Best announced it hired Isaiah Lacey as a G-Suite Migration Technician Intern, Lyndsey Lockridge as a Lumber Sales Support Coordinator, Tegan Nilles as a Category Management Planner, Nick Poling as a Computer Operator, Kayla Rasor as a Staff Accountant, Kassie Staubach-Ross as a Demand Forecasting Analyst, and Josh VanDyke as an Application Analyst. The co-op also promoted Coley Arnold to Sales Support Manager, Andrew Pinkerton to Application Analyst, Amanda Smith to New Member Conversion Specialist, and Tammy Wagner to Order Department Supervisor.
